  • Contact form: your name, email address and message, and whether you ticked to sign up for news and updates.

  • Email and phone: your contact details and anything you choose to tell us.

  • Website visits: basic technical information such as your browser, device and the pages you view, collected by our website platform.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and talk about working together.

  • To send you news and updates, but only if you asked for them.

  • To run, secure and improve our website.

Our lawful basis

We reply to enquiries and run our website on the basis of our legitimate interests. We send news and updates on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We use trusted providers to run our business, including Squarespace (website and form submissions) and Google Workspace (email). They handle your information on our behalf and may store it outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after we were last in touch, unless we go on to work together. We keep mailing list details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just email ian@urbannessie.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
